Ha ... I didn't know you'd caught wind of that, Kerry. In what you might call a rare example of compartmentalizing my life, I usually don't discuss my monthly Catholic Spirit column on my blog or with my friends. But I guess I don't mind if you post the link. It was something I wrote in one sitting the day after I got home from the hospital, thinking they could run it or not, and they did, complete with the family picture (which was a little embarrassing -- I told them I didn't want some big picture of the three of us grinning at the camera, but that's exactly what they ran).
Seeing the online version just now, I'm also a little disgusted with the head shot they included. It was taken for my security badge four or five years ago. It was NEVER supposed to appear in public. I'm so ticked off to see it there that I just shot them a note and asked them to take it off.
Oh well.
